Welcome

Who We Are and How We Can Help:

Bravo Allied Health provides services to enhance capacity-building opportunities for NDIS Participants, which include:

  • Occupational Therapy

  • Speech Language Pathology

  • Equine Assisted Psychotherapy

  • Allied Health Assistance

Your therapist(s) will work with you to help you:

  • Create realistic and achievable goals

  • Participate in any necessary assessments

  • Link in with the community and other services relevant to achieving your goals

  • Create relevant reports as outlined and required by NDIA

Cost and Billing

Our services are billed at $193.99 per hour, in line with the current NDIS price guide.

These can include appointments as well as relevant travel, resources, low-cost AT recommendations, care team meetings and outcome reports, which are traditionally billed at 2-3 hours for one discipline and 4-6 hours for two disciplines. Specialised reports can take a more substantial time and can be discussed in further detail when requested or required.

NDIS Cancellation Policy

Providers are able to claim 100% of the agreed support price for a cancellation at short notice. Bravo Allied Health requires two business days’ notice for appointment cancellation. We will only claim for a cancellation if we cannot find alternative billable work (this may include a report or resource) and will only charge for the appointment duration unless we have commenced travel before notice of cancellation.

NDIS Goal Progress Reports

Our NDIS Goal Progress Reports are primarily created to support participants in their NDIS review progress, advocating for their needs and helping them obtain supportive NDIS plans.

While such reports are not mandatory for a renewal (plan rollover), in this instance, we will provide, at minimum, a condensed NDIS Goal Progress Report. This has been deemed good practice and allows a record for reflection, which can support future review processes when needed. As always, we shall endeavour to bill such reports from current NDIS plans so as not to impact future funding.

Allied Health Assistants (if applicable)

Therapists and AHAs engage in ongoing supervision and session planning, with a regular charge from your lead therapist and AHA, typically 30 min each per 4 – 8 weeks. All assessments and reports continue to be billed by your lead therapist, with input from your AHA.

Family Services and Child Protection

  • Our team remains committed to upholding your welfare and those under your care and/or children in your environment.

  • As mandatory reporters and in line with the NDIS code of conduct, we are required to report any instances of suspected/confirmed child abuse, which can present in many ways.

  • This is a journey we are happy to work closely with you to ensure the best outcome for everyone. Please let us know if you have any relative concerns.

Ceasing Services

We encourage you to remain actively involved in your therapy and to provide as much feedback to us as possible. Should you feel your therapist is no longer the best fit, our team are comfortable in having this discussion with you.

If you prefer, please feel free to contact Dave at any time for support in finding the best solution for your therapy journey.

Dispute Resolution Process

We encourage feedback and are constantly evolving and improving our services. We are happy to work together with you to discuss any concerns which may arise.

We acknowledge that therapy is an organic journey and there may be times when you and your therapist agree to adjust this frequency, which will also be communicated in your appointment.

Should two ‘short notice cancellations’ occur consecutively, Dave will make contact with you and/or your key contact to review therapy delivery to assist with avoiding further cancellation charges.
